If you go to: robnewtonradio.com or ourgenerationsclassichits.com you can listen to Rob Newton again. I am listening right now. Mostly pop songs from the 60's and 70's with a few 80's tunes.

I believe all the on air talent are above, or close to Villagers age. Not sure where you got that information ...

Motown music is some of the best music ever made. I would love to hear more of it on the radio.

Classic Country, 50's and 60's gets my 71 year old vote.

Classic country sounds good to me also. Gives a nice option from listening to WVLG.

Hi everyone,

A former Village resident is building a new FM radio station this summer. And we're interested in your format thoughts for the new station.

Options include: Easy Oldies, Classic Country and Classic Hits.

Give us your thoughts! Thanks

I love the easy listening oldies from 50's and 60's,

ukbill70 08-28-2016 02:02 PM

50's-60's Oldies, Country or Folk. Actually any music from the Fifties or Sixties.

I know this sounds like a fun question, but it's not happening.

Classic country is what is missing. It is so much better than the current country music. My second choice is a combination of classic country and oldies from the 50-70 rock & roll.

I agree. There is way too much country music in this area for my taste.
