Can't be much harder than crossing 6 lanes of US-27.

From a listing of 66 houses for sale in Fenney on February 28th from thevillages web site to 60 today, they are selling about 1 home per day. Or, you could say 10% of their current new houses for sale in Fenney have been sold. This is assuming that new builds have not been added to the inventory during that week.

"Build it, and they will come"

Be sure to take the guided trolly tour. It is unlawful (and dangerous) to enter a construction area in your personal vehicle. No trespassing signs with the state statute number are posted at the entrances.

If you try to enter without being on one of the tours, they will turn you around. Even if you try to access it by bike.

There is an article on the other news site.

We took the bus tour this morning of the Village of Fenney. We were greatly disappointed. No one was allowed off the bus and we were not allowed to tour any of the model homes. The tour guide had little information and could not answer most of the questions asked. The continued response was "you can get more information from an agent". We were not told we could not get off the bus until we left the sales center. Many wanted to get off but were not allowed. We felt like we were being kidnapped. After today's front page story in the Sun, this was most misleading. I think TV rushed this without being prepared for the demand.

Is there a difference between the tour you get tickets for and just hopping on the first come, first serve trolley?

We took the trolley tour yesterday and had an informative guide. When we got off the trolley we were greeted by an informative overview of the community. After that we toured all of the models we wanted. We were then transported from one are to another by golf carts. No waiting. After completing the tour we were returned to the sales center by bus. There are NO Bus Tours....only trolley tours. I'm wondering why you were allowed on the bus.

The formal tours are over, they were a ticketed event. Now you can go on the bus or trolley and see it, or make an appointment to look at homes with a sales person. The tickets were limited for one week, and that ended yesterday. I wrote an article in the online paper today.

It does say this in today’s paper. “Take a Trolley Ride around our newest neighborhood!”

I didn’t realize the second week only consisted of a Trolley ride. As I can see more from my Cub than a Trolley, I will just have to wait for the winds to die down to take another new aerial look at Fenney. I thank everyone who was on the ticketed tours for giving the rest of us a view of Fenney. It will be interesting to see how things develop!

At the rate of 1 sale per day they should be sold out by 2027.
Seems to me their putting their all into selling these houses during the past two weeks. They know it would be a hard sell from the get go. I predict this will be their first failure ( relative to their past successes) Relative to Stonecrest or OTOTW they'll be on par. LOCATION...LOCATION...LOCATION
My humble observational opinion.

When they're doing front page stories, with large photos, that's the first clue that there are some issues...and it's being pushed pretty hard.

Read somewhere, that this is the first time the developer has built houses before infrastruture. Not the best idea in my book.
