Default NO Homesite for us?

seems we are having no luck finding a homesite to fit our needs. we wanted a large enough lot to accomodate a pool in back of home plus golf cart garage?? Not anything out there. unbelievable. only on wetlands which is now a second thought as people mentioned "mold" concerns and "frog" noise, not to mention the huge cost.

also we dont' want to get to far out as nothing is out there yet and what if nothing pops up?? feel as if we are stuck. Almost ready to give up. very disappointed

But Heartnsoul...You still live HERE in lower Paradise. No need to anguish.

Opportunities to switch homes abound. Wait a few years and south of 466A will have all of the retail, restaurants, and business that other places in TV have...but I am betting...the prices will rise when that happens. EVERYWHERE here. I am glad we got in when we did.

When we moved here 13 years ago there was nothing except BelleAire north of Savannah Center and nothing going south west of Savannah. Nothing south of 466 let alone south of 466A. I have found if I blink, 20 more homes have gone up!!! Construction moves quickly and empty lots become someone's dream come true. Something is out there for you - just don't give up. TV is too good pass up. Good luck!!

There is a resale with a pool and golf cart garage on Glenmont Ct in the Village of Pennecamp. It is a for sale by owner and listed about 3 weeks ago. Usually when it gets listed with an agent the price drops a lot. One on Abordale was listed last week by owner for 389,900 and this week with The Villages for $339,000 after getting no bites.

You may not be able to find the land you want, but there are always going to be homes available which you can make over to exactly what you want. People in my neighborhood, which is just off Glenview, are not moving any more, they are tearing out the original insides, modernizing and adding on to their existing homes.

My advice to you if you really cannot find land to build, is to take your time and check pre-owned on a regular basis and you will find something you can make your own.

Find a great MLS realtor and look at pre-owned homes. We found that Laura Jensen of Realty Executives listened to all our needs and found us the home of our dreams.
