The other day my wife was at the colony medial center for a check up. When she was inside it started to rain. When she got home she thanked me for driving there and putting her sides down on the golf cart so she would not get wet. I said it wasn't me. So I would like to thank the person for such a nice jester. Thank You

It's almost universal here. I've seen restaurant staff do it, golf shop staff do it....and now I do it. Just enclosed 3 carts last week in Bonifay during a pouring rain. I have no idea who they belonged to, but at least they were dry when they left.

I wave to everyone and I'd estimate that 80% of the people wave back. I don't know where you're driving, but people waving to each other from golf carts is one of the things that I love about The Villages.

From St. James to the courses north/south and the squares north/south. I will raise a finger, do a full wave and also wave like the motorcyclists do - nothing. Oh well, I'll keep trying. Probably shouldn't bother me so I won't let it.

The Village of Lake Deaton might make a bulk purchase of these to say hi to all of our good neighbors.:jester:

I can even feel the smile on your face when you wave. Hooray!

When we get back there, we'll wave or give the heart sign or whatever. We love being friendly.

I absolutely love your sense of humor! Thanks for the chuckle! :jester:

Come to Lynnhaven! It is my first day back and 7 people waved!! All in ONE day!!!

So ... you let yourself get soaked in order to put down the curtains on various golf carts you happen to see? With all the good will in the world, it would never occur to me to touch someone else's property.

If I were a child now I'd probably be diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, but my family generally just explained me away as "she's not social." I don't drive a cart but would likely not notice people waving and if I did, would not wave back. So yeah. I would not consider myself "friendly," if that's the criteria. Am I happy? Yes.

Maybe switch tactics and try just the middle finger? Maybe you will get the middle finger "wave" back? Tee hee...

Hi hulahips: I have been here 9 years this summer and as i recall some golf carts equipped themselves with mechanical hands that waved continually:wave:...and I suspect for the reason you cite above
