Yes a magnificent critter. As a bonus, if you look at the back 3/4 of the gator, he/she looks like a giant catapillar with a frog attached in front. Anybody else see that?

That pond is where I was watching two gators, when one jumped up on the bank and ran toward me. Chasing another gator. Mating season of course. I speedily headed for my golf cart. Luckily the first gator jumped back into the water.

They're cute at a distance, but boy oh boy, can they move fast! When they come out of the water, they don't crawl, they explode.

But seriously. Look again... The leg/foot in the center of his body looks like a frog and his body from there back looks like a giant catepillar.

um... doesn't it? Anybody?

If not, I promise to go back on my meds.

I looked real hard for your description of the critter and I just don't see it. But hey, I'm from California and I see strange critters all the time, it's crazy out here.

I will tell you one thing, I'm not looking for my lost ball in the water, near the water or if it's even close to the water, I'm so out of the vicinity. Give me as many stroke penalties as you like, I want to live and have all my limbs.

I love Florida but the gators and snakes just gets to me. When I was a very young woman, I was a tour guide at Palm Coast. We were notified to be vigilant about snakes and other critters that could be under our cars, what the heck!!!! Plus the gators had a serious hold on that community.

So now I'm old and returning to gatorville, great! What the heck!!!

Nope, I don't see that. I see something else. Look between his hind legs and front legs. I see the initials "noik" or is it "noix". Wonder what he's advertising?

I see boots, belts, and hat bands. A dinosaur that has out lived their time. Sorry!

Apparently they can make great house pets; but, then, so can hippos; and I don't have one of those, either.

Bestmickey,
Yes, you're right. I do see that!

Don't know what he's advertising but it's probably not a brand of alligator shoes.
