I didn't understand a word they said in the alligator video. (Darn, maybe they explained what NOIK means. )

The hippo story was awesome.

Gators:

They are fast moving forward. Not so good with lateral moves.

When they lunge...move to the right and jump on his/her back. Roll the gator on its back and scratch its belly. He/she will love you.

It's how how I met my former spouse.

Remember, once upright - they still bite. Trust me on this -- (writing this while listening to "This Diamond Ring" - thank you Al Kooper and Leon Russell)

That gator is such a ham!

The lovely Diane and I saw a gator just north of the Morse bridge in late March. We saw it swimming in the pond coming towards shore. A big 'un. Never saw a gator swim before...very graceful. Then it submerged just inches from shore. So watch out when you go looking for balls in the water on Palmer or you may get a nasty surprise.
