The fine is beyond stupid. This is what is killing the Olympics for many of us. Get these people off the committee and bring in new blood.

Bikinis look geat on the right body on the beach, but do not survive the jumping, twisting and reaching required to play volley ball.

Why do they have to wear skimpy suits? I think the shorts look great and are probably more comfortable. You go girls. Not watching the olympics this time. Could not care less who wins. They have poisoned the well.

The German women's gymnastics team decided to wear unitards. They covered their legs instead of their arms. I'm glad they took a stand as a team.

Bwolf1 08-01-2021 08:30 AM

This silliness is just one reason I’m not watching.

Such a stupid sexist uniform for those athletes. I know I wouldn't want to have my butt cheeks hanging out while working and I sure don't like to see it on others as well. I'm sure many men would disagree with me, but sports is not pornography, those voyeurs should get their kicks in other private ways in my book.

What would be a novel concept is to have varied opinions without including cheap shots at differing or opposing views?

Congrats to the team!!! Their new (Rogue) outfit looks much more presentable,

What your take?? I support what they did.

Norway's women's handball team fined €1,500 for wearing shorts instead of bikini bottoms | Daily Mail Online

No wonder viewership is down.

Loved that Pink offered to pay their fines for them!

I have complained about this for years. If the men are allowed to wear shorts, then why are the women required to wear bikinis? It obviously is not to improve their game. I totally support letting women athletes look like athletes.

Agree, in my younger years I seen pole dancer’s more covered.

I wish the US women's gymnastic team would do the same. They all have such out-of-proportion upper bodies as a result of all that training, that their uniforms look top-heavy and odd/unattractive. JMO

Equal rights!

If the women should wear bikinis - then the MEN SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO WEAR SPEEDOS!:bigbow::bigbow::bigbow:
