We just had our Nova filters changed and had to replace one of the blue canisters. Maybe more prevalent than is known.

My nova system had a 1 year warranty. My Pegasus system has a lifetime warranty.

Sounds like NOVA is going to lose lots of business. Appears they are too busy anyway.

True, but thats because you are paying almost double for the Pegasus so that warranty is built into the price. Nothing wrong with that but it needs to be mentioned.

As a Nova customer for almost 4 years I have never had an issue with the system. To be fair, a Nova System is very different than a pegasus system it's like comparing apples to oranges. Nova is a very stable company and we have had nothing but great service from them. If you have ever been to their warehouse on clay drain road you would understand their credibility and it is very apparent why they are in over 25,000 homes in the villages alone. Very kind people and family owned and operated.

There can be many causes, but you can install a pressure regulator on the incoming water supply pipe to prevent pressure increases. However, if you have a tank type water heater, the pressure regulator will not prevent a pressure increase caused by thermal expansion inside your house. See Post No. 32.
