Does anybody know how that area did? I have some huge Oak trees on my property that I'm worried about.

Thanks,
Bud

Just heard from my daughter in Rio Ponderosa. They have no power and there are many branches down. I advised her not to go out till everything settles down

We have a house in the Village of Charlotte - anyone have any damage reports for that area?

We are so thankful that people are safe - it could have been so very much worse.

Our retention pond is practically in our lanai. It was a scary long night watching it rise. I hope someone has measurements of how much rain we had. Needless to say our rain gauge overflowed. I know we had 8 inches but obviously it was more.

Which village are you in, tuccillo?

In Santiago, we have water and power. No trees or bushes lost. Don't drain your tub water yet. Irma is due west of us right now.

I just drained my tub 5 minutes before I read your post. I also brought the temperature of the fridge and freezer back to the normal recommended temperatures.

Live off in Buttonwood. No power loss, minimal damage restricted to a few smaller tree branches.

I live in the Hampton Villas. Never lost power. No damage. Lost a palm frond. Walked through the neighborhood. Saw no structural damage. A couple bottlebrush trees with skinny trunks were lost. Thank you SECO!

In Gilchrist and no damage or any loss of power.

Lake behind our house is scary high and worriesome.

We were lucky.

In the Queen Palms part of Buttonwood some houses had some shingle damage and the golf course is now a lake. Never lost power over all we did fine.

In Pinellas Cedar Grove.....we are a small circle and 7 of our houses had roof damage and shingle loss. We did have power all night which was a blessing while listening to the roofing fly off! The golf courses in our area are pretty much completely under water but the streets were fine! Greenery was all fine and just a few screens with damage from the shingles flying.
