I thought this thread was about TOTV?

I see TOTV as a conversation not a homework assignment and the detours are sometimes more interesting. Feel free to take points off.

That's not like you Tom. Why the attitude?

oh sorry

No attitude intended. I was thinking about my teachers who would remind me that I was not paying attention to the class discussion again in class.
i'll do better

As a long time TOTVer, I'll go on record to say I appreciate the humor on TOTV. I love laughing and marvel at the wit of posters. Thanks to those of you who brighten our days.l

A simple like dislike button after a post and the poster should get the message. If they start to protest too much, not only do they reveal themselves but we can hit ignore forever. We are adults and can discriminate for ourselves. I love to hear from everyone, knowing we come from every background, every level of education and different viewpoints. If I see a lot of likes or dislikes different from mine, I have to reflect on whether it just might be "me", and that is growth.

Instead, how about Gruntled and Disgruntled Buttons?

I got you the first time. It's your sense of humor. Don't stop!

Well, I just learned there was a monkey spotting in TV and according to the article monkeys have "a quick wit and opposable thumbs". I just hope the monkey doesn't find a smart phone and starts posting pretending he's me.

I hear he/she has been soaking up the knowledge at the Lady Lake Elementary School!

On a serious note, these animals carry some very frightening diseases so stay clear of them. Diseases from monkeys and other primates

Seriously, it is disconcerting. Avoiding eye contact to not provoke the animal seems counter intuitive. I hope it's captured and returned.

Go see the thread that The Shadow just started about the monkey. WHO KNEW?

This forum is so educational.

There's a difference?

I was surprised too.
grun·tled
ˈɡrən(t)ld/
adjective humorous
pleased, satisfied, and contented.

dis·grun·tled
disˈɡrən(t)ld/
adjective
angry or dissatisfied.

IMHO like/dislike is age inappropriate.

Interesting:
grun•tle

v.
To utter small, low grunts.
v.
To complain; to grumble
v.
To humour; to induce the opposite effect of causing a person to become disgruntled.

Now I'm really confused.
