Where I grew up, many had 30’ - 40’ towers beside the house with antenna and rotors in order to get television reception. I guess they were beautiful but frankly never noticed. We have a few neighbors who quit cable and are streaming now but we still like our cable for television and internet - but to each his own.

What more uglier than pool solar panels or solar panels on roof. I mean dam it roof who looks up anyway.

Ham radios antenna are different horse. Depending on power of the radio. In old days it could cut in on TV antenna reception so bad you couldn’t hear when watching TV.

We live in the Ocala Natl Forest and we get multiple Orlando stations with our hdtv antenna and it's not up very high
