The charges go to your credit card. Most credit card companies provide the insurance coverage free. For me it is less expensive but more importantly we can leave and arrive on our own schedule and not be driven around all over the area or wait at the bus stop.

Do you pick up the car the day before or the day of your trip? Ex: flight is at 2pm on Wednesday so car pick up is maybe 4pm on Tuesday.

An option is to rent a car and drop it off at the airport and locally on the return. I've heard the price is very reasonable.

I do this all the time.

$70 to $80 one way.

Uber is definitely more expensive unless you have more than 2 people, as they charge the same for 1 as they do for 5 or more. The convience is that they can pick you up at your house and go directly to your drop off without picking up other passengers. Many Uber and Lyft drivers are contacted directly and charge a set rate to take them to either Tampa or Orlando. That way they can say what time they want to be picked up and know approx what time there arrival is. I have many who use this option. They can also arrange to be picked up at the airport and brought back home.
