When do you need them? Moving from Colorado and everything arrives 2/22 but need time to unpack.

Let me give you a good hint, purchase boxes at UHAUL. They take back any unused I bought several packs of every size when moving her to TV. It was worth the price. I also bought their good packing tape that actually sticks to the box & its easy to remove incase. I love their bubble wrap & dish boxes, very handy & really not high priced.

Default Packing boxes

You can order from Uline but shipping is high. I purchase boxes for my business for the first time from Packaging Price and they were quite reasonable; shipping costs as well. Many sizes to choose from. Came quickly.

Liquor boxes are good as long as they don't cut the tops off and if you can get them all in the same size, they stack better. Banana boxes from any of the supermarkets are terrific.
I wouldn't recommend any boxes that have had food. If you have them for any length of time you end up with bugs. I've moved 3 times in 3 years and always purchased supplies from U Haul. I've compared prices with Home Depot and U Haul wins. You can order online and have delivered. If you order too many you can easilyreturn and many outlets have a spot that people can return used boxes that you can get free.

One good place to buy boxes is any U-Haul rental shop.
Apparently it worked out for you. Paintings are difficult to properly pack, broad and flat.
If, it was fine art, expensive, I doubt the would pay on an insurance claim. If, valuable they should be crated.

Wrapping anything as stated, long ago, I had a summer job packing expensive laboratory glassware. The corrugated cardboard used to make boxes is fairly light easy to cut and great for shock absorption. When, we moved, I would put a second layer cut from another box on the bottom of the box and the top. More fragile stuff, I would also
line the sides of the box.

Of course, buying boxes is never a bad idea other than the fact that it gets expensive if you need a lot of them.

Liquor boxes are clean. Boxes from supermarkets that have food in them are also clean. Unpackaged food is never thrown in a box and any box that you have for any length of time will always get a bug or two. Roaches are attracted to the glue in all boxes and you will never void that if you keep them for a while.

This is probably off the topic, but you might consider plastic storage boxes. At $8 each (for a 27 gallon tote) they are more expensive, but they stack and will last much longer. We are moving down and need to store our stuff for a few months, so the cost is worth it. Plus we can sell them later or keep them for garage storage.
