Default Paint Color

Just purchased a five year old ranch house in Village of Charlotte. How can I find out the original paint color to do touch up on walls? No one seems to know

Call the warranty department.

Agree, call home warranty, 352-753-6222, if the previous home owner did not repaint, they will have the paint colors. Also, I understand the Florida Paints stores and possibly Sherwin Williams can get the same data and get you matching paints. Now one word of caution, after 5 years, new paint may not actually match the existing paint.
Good luck with your project.
Just noticed that you did not mention if the walls were inside or outside, if outside, be sure to feather in the paint as the new will probably be a different shade from the old paint, especially if it get a lot of sun.

I'm guessing they are white. If they are, the warranty department can tell you the paint number and brand, as well as the painter who painted them. If they are a color.... I would guess they were painted by an owner.

I don't know if you've actually moved in yet, but new owners typically get a small set of paints to use to do inside touchups. You may find that in one of the closets or out in the garage. Otherwise, as others suggested, call Home Warranty.
