If you want to check someone out, just do a search for "State of FL Dept of Corrections" and you can easily see if they have served prison time, have been let out, or have absconded.

Where did you see pictures of him?

We are not immune from crime just because we live in The Villages. Overall, TV has the lowest crime rate in the state. Crime happens no matter where you live so people better get over it. Don't know if the man left his keys in the cart or not, they took it and that's a crime. You have to be careful also who you have in your house doing work. I have heard that residents leave their house when workers are there? Not a good idea. They can take their time and look over every nook and cranny and check out how to enter and leave and then you're the next victim.

If I were the property owner who was robbed, I would be hiring an attorney to sue the cleaning company of which he was an employee. How dare a company bring anyone with his background into a residents home. Apparently he was well known to authorties and his history of burglary. I am hoping the name of this particular cleaning company is exposed, they deserve any bad publicity they get from being stupid in hiring this moron.:rant-rave::rant-rave::rant-rave:

I am thinking that overtime we all might have had some previous felons cleaning something or cutting the grass. I just never thought about it. I used to have some area of carpet cleaned about ever six months back in Cincy. I never questioned who did it. I had a local rather large company and they always had different guys.

You ARE right. The folks who employed him are probably in very hot water.

My wife did a pretty decent job of detective work on these thefts. so I asked how she did it and she replied that she hadn't watched Charlie Chan movies for nothing. Husband #1 the guy's been in the homeowners house on more than one occasion. Its probably a doper who lives in and around TV She is so smart. Guess I have to get Netflix Columbo series and that kool rain coat

I, too, am really curious about the name of the cleaning company. Sounds like it is known - so, let it be known to all of us.
