Actually, they do. Whether someone got away with it or not is NOT the issue. My brother-in-law was kicked off the chipping green for not wearing a collared shirt.

Sorry, I didn't realize the golf course at Hacienda was gone. :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Ditto.
Son in law.
No token for range balls until properly attired.

But were the country club? How thing people feel that brought on course? Three more fine examples how things try to get pawn off on districts. Sure it might take 10 more years of neglect. But don’t count you birdies. :1rotfl::1rotfl: O wait most of us won’t be around in ten years. :ohdear:

Most people who bought on that course couldn't see the clubhouse anyway. I doubt many bought because there was a clubhouse nearby, they bought for the view primarily. I live on Evans Prairie and the presence of a clubhouse 2 holes away never entered into my decision.
And what makes anyone think that TV is destined to "neglect" that golf course, if anywhere, OBH would be first on the list to "neglect".

I have a golfing buddy who was told on the range at Sarasota that he had to have a collared shirt.

One thing to have a collared shirt. Another to decide how to "wear it".

Dying sport….we need to change the golf courses to pickleball courts…the new generations game

Old news---golf has been growing steadily over the last 8-10 years

Wrong! I was there about a month ago and I was wearing a t shirt. They wouldn't sell me any range balls because I wasn't wearing a collar shirt.

Did you miss the thread where someone claims that pickleball was just a "fad"?

They DO NOT require collared shirts. A nice tee shirt with no unpresentable graphics or sayings is acceptable; no “wife beater” shirts allowed.

See post #27; did your shirt match any of the non allowed shirts I posted?

Go play Continental. Great conditions. New greens are the best and fairways over-seeded.
Oh, and great price for golf / lunch specials.
