Tip of the day...leave the "bubble" and you will find the sky is not falling. Plenty of gas, regular prices, and no lines. Just left the Sunoco at 44 and 301. Same as the Shell located across the intersection.

Bee-eye-en-gee-oh!!

Now's the time to invest in canned goods and shotguns!

make sure you have a mechanical, not electric opener for those cans. nice thing about a full pantry when you don't feel like shopping.

I would guess from the lines and areas all reporting everyone is gassing up that they ran out of regular, but I am a glass half full person. And I am from Ohio.

And the lines are not a Bonanza. People will need to refuel when they run out just as usual.

Ha ha! I was thinking the same thing. But I question our surmise.

Wonder how many people know what a p38 is? By the way my wife used to love some of c-rations I brought home after weekend drills.

Try buying water. I said the heck with it and bought more beer instead.

Plenty of water at colony Publix and whatever else you might need in the way of food. Gas a bit harder to find. Some were buying as little as $5-$6 worth of gas. They burned that much gas just driving to the station and waiting in line.

I still have my P-38 sitting next to my dogtags

Stopped and got gas at Murphy's on 466.

Not a long wait but I noticed the pump was going slow.

I am stressed and that made me laugh.. $4 worth of gas

I did have my P38 but when I retired, I gave it to the Military Museum in Saratoga Springs NY.

You are missing the point. Car gas tanks are storage tanks in case you need gas for a generator. If power goes out, you won't be able to buy any gasoline until power is restored. Also, make sure you have plenty of cash since ATM's won't work, stores will be closed etc with a power loss. Been down this path a couple times before

We are putting spare electronics from the porch in our car in the garage. Trick we learned when the movers moved our car in the moving van. Mover suggested we pack the car rather than pay for all that empty square footage.
