Default Private car service

Is anyone aware of private individuals willing to do MCO airport trips at oddball hours? Email me if you don't want to post. :cop:

I would also be interested in receiving this information as my husband is doing a lot of commuting. As with Captain, if you don't want to post I would appreciate an e-mail.

Wished I had a bigger car as this is the kind of thing I love doing -- driving. However, Miatas are just not good transportation cars.

Enterprise will rent a car one way either to or from Orlando Airport for $50 or less. This comes in handy for late flights.

The Enterprise daily rate (800 number) from Orlando (MCO) to TV was less than $30 with no drop off fee (just gas and taxes)...but from TV to Orlando International Airport they wanted to add a drop off fee almost equal to the daily rate. Make certain you ask not only for the daily rate but for the total cost of the rental with all fees and taxes..plus gas. Also be careful finding a gas station in and around MCO before you return the car...I had trouble finding a gas station and when I did I had to pay $4.59 for regular last week and If I simply returned it to the car rental agency without a full tank, they would have charged me over $6.00 a gallon.

I PAID FOR GAS IN ADVANCE FROM BUDGET AND ALAMO CAR RENTALS AND THE PRICE WAS CHEAPER THAN THE GAS STATIONS I PASSED FROM ORLANDO AIRPORT TO THE VILLAGES

When returning a car to Orlando Airport I usually fill up at the gas station on the Florida Turnpike a couple of miles north of the turnoff to the Bee Line Expressway to the airport - about 7 miles from the airport.

NOw you tell me......$4.59/gal just outside MCO was definitely a shock.

Next time I will know that gas stations are not easy to find near MCO and to gas up on the turnpike before I get to MCO/

Is the Enterprise location in Sumter Landing within walking distance of the shuttle station?

From one side of LSL to the other side (in all directions) is about 3/4 Mile.

The shuttle station is fairly close to the lake on the West side of LSL - about a 5 minute walk to the square (w/o luggage).

This place was a rip. Agter I got done pumping I heard a guy oni the other side of my pump yell....and He said he was from NYC and these prices certainly beat what he sees in NY. When you cannot find a gas station and you are trying to catch a plane you do foolish things.
