I heard that parking meters are being considered for both squares and nearby businesses. The purpose would be to help defray expenses from the "free" entrtainment. Has anyone heard that rumor?

I haven't heard that rumor and I personally think " cows may fly " before that happens. The master planners for the Villages have certainly witnessed what meters have done to cause the demise of many downtowns around the United States.

OH MY GOSH...that would be a horrendous mistake for the villages to make. They'd definitely never see me there again that's for sure. We pay enough for everything around here...I'd NEVER pay for parking!!
