Same vendors are mostly at Marion Market. People will go to the vendors if they want. Plenty of parking back there also. Too many market nights. Maybe hold one every two weeks. Should also hold the farmers market out back in the parking area over at Brownwood. Would save a lot of walking. Just an idea from someone that's handicapped and doesn't go to the entertainment because of the parking the vendors take up. I'm sure there are a lot of people in the same boat......

So sorry you are handicapped but for someone who doesn't go to the entertainment offered at the squares, your information is not entirely correct. If I could address some of your comments... The handicap spaces around the square are always open for handicap permit holders. Other parking areas are no more than a 5 minute walk from the square, about the same amount of time it would take to walk around the square. On another note, the vendors supply a good portion of the fees that pay for the entertainment. Without the vendors, I doubt there would be as much entertainment offered. Also, the vendors are not allowed to park on the square. The are required to park in the perimeter lots. Lastly, very few of these vendors supply their arts and crafts at the Market of Marion although there are some... and many of the vendors are your fellow villagers just trying to earn a few extra bucks by supplying quality products. If you don't like parking at the squares because of the vendors, I would suggest going to Brownwood where there are no vendors or the other squares on non-market nights. They are only there twice a week which leaves 5 more non-vendor nights with supposedly plenty of parking.
