Can you renew a passport at the Government Annex on 466A or only at the one on 466?

Richielion, think about getting a Border Card at the same time. Then you don't have to carry a passport for Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda. Use to be an additional 20 bucks for the Passport Card, don't know what it is now and its about the same size as a credit card, way hander than carrying the passport in places listed above.

A little tap with a little hammer takes care of that problem.

From the Sumter County website:

Who do I call for a passport?
You need to call the Clerk of Court at (352) 793-0211.

Thanks Figmo. I can't believe I never heard of the Passport Card. I definitely will look into this.

WE got them when we lived in New Mexico since the NM DL does not meet the requirements of a secure ID issued by a government agency. NM still thinks that it is proper to issue DL to illegals. Figured that once the law took effect would need it for boarding aircraft entering federal buildings, etc. Was handier than carrying a passport all the time.

in Orlando we went to the Post Office to get passports, and forms. but the poster who said renew online is right, I just did it for my mom, and it was so easy, but you still have to print out the information and send it along with photos and the old passsport (hers was expired).
