Smile War Rationing

In WWll one of the first things that was done was the rationing of critical supplies. I remember, as an example you received gas cards, etc. We are now hearing this Virus Pandemic is "a war" while some are running out and hoarding critical supplies. Let's hope we soon recognize these shoppers are violating the supply side of our needs and make it a crime to hoard and set limits to critical needs.

Rationing is when there is a shortage.
There is no shortage.
Just an abundance, of panic and greed.

Perhaps the powers that be consider selling smaller packaging of essential items such as TP.

Who really needs to have 48 rolls of TP?
Or 16 rolls of paper towels?
Or even a 12 pack of hand disinfectant?
Or 6 packs of disinfecting wipes?

I think it's more larger packaging issues (that's mostly what's being offered for sale) for the big box stores.

If they limit purchasing to a 8 pack of TP then more households could have some, like 6 households could have an 8 pack compared to 1 having 48 pack. At least until this is behind us.

Just my thoughts as I'm very bored as are most of you!

There is no shortage of food or most other household needs/staples.

What is in extremely short supply for too many is common sense and respect for others.

Were not being told the real story.
1 How can a virus just a mere 120 give or take days ago.
Was touted as a China problem has now spread to every continent in the world
2 With in just past 21 days we have gone to total closure of all sporting events, schools, parks, restaurants retail sales outlets.
3 Our government is pumping billions and billions to shore up growing fears of shortages
4 Military is sending hospital ships to large cities
5 Automakers tooling up for respiratory equipment and medical supplies
6 Our major manufacturing companies stocks have fallen 50% or greater

7 When will they tell us it's unstoppable and can no longer cover it up

This problem will not be over in a few weeks, the Gov of NY has stated its going to take months--the only thing we can do to make it shorter is staying @ home & restricting social contact--go to your post office station when the herd isn't there, if there are a lot of people there stay clear until the herd thins--the same for grocery shopping--its our only defense-we have laid off our house cleaner-but will still give her some $$ to help

This virus is stoppable. The virus needs a host (humans or animals) to continue to thrive. If we, as a unified front, can not give this virus the opportunity to thrive and no longer host it, the virus will eventually die out.

This virus is communicable between animals to humans and humans to animals. What we have to do is stop giving our furry friends "kisses" as that will surely become a huge problem in combating this virus.
