Nothing wrong with double-checking.

Dear NORMAL from Ohio,
Welcome! You will love TV and all the activities, but especially the winter weather. Lots of NE Ohio folks here (I wonder why LOL)

You need to go through the ARC (Architectural Review Committee).

Put anything you want there. In case you over step and place something prohibited there, there is a group of roaming deed restriction enforcement police (neighbors) that will alert you to any violations (anonymously, of course).

IMO too hot down here for fire pit. Plus it get dry and now got ambers floating around. IMO shouldn’t be allowed in community where houses stacked in line sardines.

This is not directed to you but to anyone considering the villages. Why don't you read the deed restrictions before you decide to purchase? No matter how many pages it is it's one of your biggest purchases in life, and you should decide to be happy where you live

Hurricane aide - put a couple small screw-in concrete anchors in the concrete slab near the furniture. Then when hurricane wind is forecast, take a rope or lightweight cable and tie down to the anchor(s).
Keeps things from flying around the neighbors house

Refer to your architectural paperwork u receive at closing. I believe open flames of any kind are prohibited.

Default Patio

I have the same thin on a corner lot. I added a wall, ran an underground natural gas line for a grill and also added a natural gas fire pit. All of this is covered by a sun-setter awning. It is great for those cool evenings to sit out and have a fire. I particularly enjoy the fact that it is on a corner lot, so many times neighbors will stroll by and join us.
