It does indeed look like fun. Something different. I first saw one of these in Savannah, GA about five years ago.

As far as operating on the MMP's. That is a valid question. I would hope that the owner carries a healthy insurance policy that covers property damage, injury, etc. Not sure if that would answer any liability concerns. Worth looking at I would say.

They probably had a lawyer look over all the angles when they started this business. It looks like in other cities they have to maneuver around complicated laws.

You should check out the waiver you are required to sign at their homepage here: Home

Here is the first paragraph:

I understand that participating on the Pedal Parties party bike is a potentially dangerous activity. I assume the risk that I may be injured and/or injure someone else while using the party bike.
I assume all risks associated with my use of the Pedal Parties party bike, as well as all risk of loss, theft or damage of personal property while using or present on the Pedal Parties party bike or at the establishments/locations where the tour may visit or at any other time and any other location before, during and after the tour. I will not bring any action against Pedal Parties , its employees, successors and/or assigns, for personal injury, property loss, or property damage, including any action for negligence, breach of warranty, products liability or strict liability, and hereby forever waive, on my own behalf and on behalf of my successors and/or assigns, the right to bring such action.

You should check out the waiver on every single party bike operating in the country. It's the exact same. I've done it in 6 different cities and signed the same thing. Just like the waiver you sign when you participate in any sport in The Villages. It's required by the insurance company.

Multi modal path - otherwise known as the "trails." Multi modal because they are for walkers, runners, bicyclists - not just for golf carts.
