I agree that there is always a reason for where you settle down. We have visited for many years, and (still don't know our way around) but when looking for property, we wanted to be between ss and lsl, We found a place in Mira Mesa, We can get to the Landing, and the Springs without a problem, we can also take the bridge to the Paridise center and not to mention the shopping, fast food and medical vacilities. May not be the perfect place for everyone, but after all the trips to the villages, when we walked into our new home, it just felt like home. We are excited! They did. We had a choice to build the Seabrook in Pennecamp and at Laurel Valley, Glenkenny at Fernandina opened up a couple of weeks after we made the choice. There were NO view lots at the time. We chose Laurel Valley because it was closer to already built stores, restaurants and doctors and of course LSL although we rarely go there for the evening entertainment anymore, we have so many things to do now with friends.

We have an interior lot with nice spacing so we have a good view between the homes. We would have liked a view lot but we were homeless and there were no view lots to fit the Seabrook.

We are very happy here.

BTW, the airport van driver said Publix and Macy's soon to come around Brownwood....and lots of other new stores. He said there is a bidding war between Wal-Mart and Cosco for land.
