How does one get rid of a large piece of furniture?. Do we have big pick up available for garbage? Or are there places that will pick up for donation? Thank you.

Call Habitat for Humanity, they will gladly pick it up to sell at their store.

If it is in GOOD condition, Bargains and Treasures will pick it up and sell it for you.

Bargains and Treasures will buy it. They no longer do consignment sales. Nearlee New still does consignments. (I may have them bassackwards, haven't slept and slightly punchy.) if not in good condition but decent offer it to some of the landscape workers. They nearly always have a need for furniture. Finally, you can call the garbage company and they will make arrangements to have it picked up.

I had salvation army pick up my sectional. They are extremely fussy about condition - no spots or tears. Another option, I posted that I had a gas grill to dispose of and people responded with a suggestion to put it out in front at my driveway. Sure enough, a gentlemen came to the door and asked for it (which I thought was very nice). Gas grill gone!

I just run an add on Craigslist in the "Free" section to the first person to get there. It's usually gone in an hour.
