They now have recycling cans at the postal stations?

Default Telephone Directories

If they didn't deliver 2 and 3 issues to the same address; there wouldn't be so much of a problem.

Default Old phone books in the "Old Days"

We moved to The Villages in 2005, and, yes, old phone books were then collected at the postal stations. Habits die hard, I guess, and apparently some don't bother to heed the pleas of The Villages not to bring them there anymore.

I wish they would NOT deliver phone books!!! If we are not here they sit outside in the driveway announcing you are not home.

Bridgeport at Lake Sumter. The mail station is across from the Bridgeport rec center. We need to leave our village, head to Arnold Palmer country club, go under Buena Vista, around the rec center and across the street to the postal station. According to the Villages app it is 1.3 miles from my house.

You don’t pick up your mail and complain about it’s condition.
What do you suggest the mail person should do?
In Virginia Trace, if we had too much mail we would get a key in our mailbox, and all the mail would be in the big mailbox.

Our mail person in Bridgeport is not that savvy. Heck, I’ve seen them fill up my small mailbox with packages that aren’t even for us.

Personally I think people are tired of getting junk mail & if they don't need another phone book, they just leave it at the postal facilities, then they don't have to dispose of it themselves. It's easier than dragging it home then taking it out to the curb!
