Only building code I think is vent over the stove.

You may want to shop the appliances you want and opt out of the builders, you will get $1625 credit.
Others have reported this was a better saving and of course unlimited choices. Plenty of time to shop before moving in.

If it is an option I would suggest having an accent wall painted in LR, MBR, and anywhere else you would like one. .

The paint is an option, but you can save $$ with local painters, same on granite.

But if you want to just move in.......
