A Village of Marsh Bend resident has been named as person with the virus, just wondering if the person from Marsh Bend is the same person who is the pickle ball player--His wife is a health care professional who works in Tampa

Announcements - Play Pickleball-B Forever Young

Notice no mention of infection. Also, in the Rec News section of today's Daily Sun, there is an article about how the pickleball courts are one of the few rec options still open to us, although they officially are discouraging play.

Until someone posts something external to opinion, including email headers if they are used, this is just the spreading of another unsubstantiated rumor.
That Announcement by Pickleball Forever indicates that everything has been suspended. No playing for the time being.

That refers to THEIR organized activities only. It does not relate to courts being open or closed.

Yes, you can stay in your house and the Governor is requesting you do so. Please comply and don't believe you know better.

What do you mean you "can't stay home?" Of course you can. I'm sorry if you are bored, but you'll survive. What is wrong with you people that aren't taking it seriously? Does someone you know have to die first before you stop hindering everyone's efforts?
Do your part in flattening the curve and STAY THE FLUFF HOME!

We have a neighbor who was exposed at Pickleball. Not sure it was the same court.

Did he wear a mask? If he coughed you all are in trouble Better gat checked.
Only way to be safe is wear a hat to cover your neck and part of the face. Then wear a mask, glasses to cover your eyes & gloves. I also carry Clorox wipes to touch things like gas pump handle & door knobs. You have to keep yourself safe.

people are lying on the floor dying in Italy. not here. Italy was broke as could be before this flu & believes in 'freedom of movement', hence, the masses not surviving. they had no $$ to handle this onslaught. is very very sad

There are no balls at pickleball courts you have to bring you’re own. Maybe he was moocher wanting to play with no ball expecting someone else to provide for him.

He had to touch his face with the glove or hand without washing them. If this is true, I feel bad for him. Don’t let someone sneeze or cough in your face and wash your hands after touching anything someone else recently touched. Stay safe and play by CDC guidelines

Yes we have more $$ than Italy, we will also have more cases than any other country in a few days. NYC is likely to have people laying on the floor. We are not immune...get real!

They said he played last week. There were balls then.
