Post Construction flyover update 2-2-20

Here is the latest flyover of the construction and expansion work going on in and around The Villages.

The biggest spurt in growth seen is in the Village of DeLuna and the Water Lilly Rec Center.

This look isn’t as extensive as the last nor as long, I normally fly on Sundays to minimize any potential hazards of flying near people but this past Sunday the winds were gusting very strong even at relatively low altitudes. I don’t feel safe flying or feel like losing another aircraft.

I hope you enjoy the video and the updates.

THANK YOU for another informative video and narration. A couple comments:
  • The Omni Building at Colony Plaza -- I did once see an announcement that it will be a Dunkin' Donuts. I can't find that announcement now.
  • The "less attractive" building at Brownwood -- One of them is known as the Sandspur Ice Plant. I'm guessing it's this one. Ice plants probably weren't as attractive as train stations and court houses, the themes of other buildings which are also being built. <wink><wink>

Always a fan. When you pointed out the Church Steeple in your last video, we had to find it.
