Right, so not where they're walking...

Your back yard? Check your site survey. It is not your back yard or anyone else's. You really are funny!

If you mean after the starter shacks close…no, they are not. Easydog is correct.

After hours is when the last paid golfer finishes.
After hours, the course IS CLOSED.

Since you’re talking about paid golfers, you must be talking about champ courses. If you are, you can start play after hours without having paid. An ambassador will write you a ‘ticket’ and you pay the next day. If an ambassador doesn’t cross your path…which has never happened to me, they’re usually on the course if there is any daylight at all…you are simply on your honor to pay the next day.

I have checked with starters and pro shops more than once and they have verified that this method of late-day play is fine.

So the champ courses can be played as long as light allows by golfers following the rules.

Yes, but not when the course is CLOSED, and certainly not by dog walkers, tourists, joy riders and anyone else who would be TRESPASSING.

Nope.
Call TV Golf Admin Office.
(I just talked to them)
After hours golf is not allowed is the policy.
If caught, yes you will get a "ticket".

Heheh. I’ve been “caught” every time I’ve done it. The ambassador writes a “receipt” with a smile and wishes me well for the rest of my round. I pay my green fees at the pro shop the next day, where they also handle it routinely.

Go figure. :)

Just so you are aware during summer hours you can play a reduced rate late and play. The starter shack is closed and the ambassador is gone. You can play as many holes as you can before dark. Driving on the fairway is not right if it is cart path only, unless the person has a handicap pass.

If it is posted "Cart Path Only" the handicap pass people cannot drive on the fairway either. Follow the rules, have fun and do not disrespect those rules, they are for everyone-no exceptions. Closed is closed!
