Do you really thing the developer would allow the POA anything on TV property? If you haven't noticed, even the VHA mailbox is gone from the postal stations.

VHA mailboxes were replaced with contact page on their web site.

There is an article in the Feb 10 and another in the May 5 District Weekly Bulletin about Well Being Checks. If Community Watch sees two or more newspapers in a driveway they may initiate a Well Being Check (WBC) to check on the resident.

That happened to us a number of months ago. One paper was late and delivered like 6 PM which we didn't notice and the next paper the following morning at the usual 4AM. By 7AM we got calls from Villages Watch (which we didn't answer because we didn't recognize the number) then calls from our neighbor across the street because VW went to them to see if they knew where we were. I had to call VW to tell them we were still alive. They confirmed the "2 papers in the driveway" for a WBC. Nice of them, but after "2 papers" (2 days) we'd likely be beyond help at that point. By that time it probably would have been easier just to do a sniff test. :D All kidding aside, a nice service provided by VW whether it would help or not after 2 days.

How do you go about canceling it? I never read it and it usually sitting on my driveway for a couple of day before I realize it's there. It's a good advertisement for thieves to know no one is home.

Except, you leave it in your driveway for a couple of days - which means you're home. So - I guess that "good advertisement for thieves to know no one is home" is proven incorrect by your own account.

Listen I pick up the one that is in my driveway and a couple lazy neighbor’s and several others on the homes that I watch while snowbirds are away. There’s nothing that says NOBODY’S HOME like a paper that sits in the driveway for a week. Get my point ?

Well then - the burglars will rob their house instead of yours. Win-Win!

I agree with you
A good neighbor would pick up the paper for their neighbor

In the paper itself there is a item to choose that you would like “ E “ delivery
