Default Pod

We are moving to The Villages full time and we are going to have a POD in our driveway for 1 week. Do we need HOA approval?

There is no HOA in The Villages.
You can call Community Standards to get the correct information.

You will have pretty good sized rust stains on your driveway after they pick it up. I emptied ours immediately and had them pick it up the next day just for that reason.

Check with community standards for the actual info. Our deed restrictions only referred to recreational vehicles for 72 hours. Maybe your new neighbors would pitch in to help unload it if they didn't want to see it for very long!

I unloaded 16 foot pod in about 5 hours by myself, I move the furniture in immediately and put majority of boxes in garage with less important items. Got rid of pod nest day (luckily they was in the area) so I could park my car in driveway. Now under closed doors and comfort of A/C unpacked boxes at my leisure which took less than 3 days.
