Question A little public humiliation can help.

In the area I grew up in they had a police blotter in the back pages of the newspaper. It listed by offence the arrests and tickets and the name of the person. I remember hearing people say don't speed through town, if you get a ticket you'll hear about it from everyone in church for a month. Maybe these wild golf cart and car driving people you guys keep complaining about would be more careful if they had a spotlight on them.

Just a thought.

Default It's not being a nosey body

I don't take it as being a nosey body at all .I take is as being informed of what's happening in your town.We read in the paper about people in the surrounding towns getting arrested and comment about how bad those areas are. There are things happening here also. Look at the other post about the mans plants being stolen or how about all the candles and the like being taken from the new Seabreeze Center, the kids doing damage in the parking lots uptown or the Christmas tree in the square getting damaged over the Holidays. It happens everywhere and people in general need to be more watchful and careful of what's going on around them.

These people are called "busybodies" and making their whole life's directive the absolute need to know what everyone else around them is doing or not doing! Add that to what I dislike about certain Villagers. I try to avoid people like that as I would with a plague.
In the past I have not agreed with many of your thoughts and posts, however, I must (in this case) agree with what you are saying. The need to know about this crap will not change my life.
