Never heard of the postal station not being operational once people have moved in. I'd call the USPS to find out what is going on if that's not the case.

It's always been my understanding that all infrastructure is in and running prior to any houses being sold.

When we moved into Hillsborough in April 2013, we were told after 30 homes were sold, the postal station would open. We were the 3rd purchasers at that time.
