I got a special last November, 2013, and I paid $640 for the year including tax.

I like it much better than Anytime Fitness as instructors are there during hours of operation. Anytime Fitness gives you access 24/7 but if you go at 2 AM, no instructors will be there. They don't give you a locked bin for your valuables, but you have to trust everyone, by throwing your valuables into a bin. If one got hurt or ill, there would be no staff, to help you.

MVP has a sauna and nice shower areas. People are friendly and workout area is immaculate. I also like that staff sets up the weight lifting machines, from 8 AM to noon. You can zip through your weight routine quickly.

I would rather pay a little extra, for something, that is way nicer. but that's me.......I rather give it to MVP, than give it to the doctors. :D

As a member, you can park in their lot during major events happening, in SS.

Anybody that is a member, are evening classes crowded(5-8 pm)? Can you get shut out of classes because they are too full? I'm asking regarding Spanish Springs location.

At this time of year the evening class have room. Somewhat more crowed in "season" ..... also, the Brownwood location seems to have drained off a significant part of the previous SS membership.

When I toured Brownwood,I was told that if a class filled up, they would open another one. I don't know how that would work, as the equipment is specific to each exercise room. I assume the additional class would be at a different time.

The larger exercise classroom at BW is supposed to hold 85 people.

I was wondering if someone could give me a ballpark figure of what it cost to join and the monthly fee and what you get...thanks in advance !!!

I just joined MVP Brownwood but your membership is for both SS and Brownwood. It is a little more than some of the other places but you get a lot. Go talk to them, they also have personal trainers and class which I really like.
