Default Golf cart accident on Oak Forest

I was just returning (12:15 pm) from Lake Sumter Landing and going up Oak Forest Drive and saw a police car with his light flashing. There was a golf cart on a front lawn with it's front bumper area torn off and the metal speed limit sign laying twisted on the ground next to the cart.

That cart must have been cruising right along to take down the speed limit sign on the edge of the road. Wonder if alcohol was involved - just after 12 noon on Palm Sunday?

Didn't see any ambulance or hear any sirens so I guess no one was injured.

Maybe he swerved to avoid a car. Why do you think that alcohol was involved?

No reason at all. Just an attempt at humor - that obviously did not go over.

Swerving to avoid a car is a possibility.
