My guess is that whomever it is that empties those cans missed a day or two. Still no excuse for dumping everything around them, take them home and then dispose.

You might want to hang on to those phone books. If we have another run on TP they could come in handy (if a bit painful).

There are those with an "agenda" to paint this lovely place in ugliness. Either they want to discourage people from moving here, or they want to change the very well working CDD form of government or they just see the glass as half full. I see this day as one full of hope and promise. Very soon we will be able to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and have it be 90% effective. We will be comfortably able to be with people we enjoy again and to do group activities again. BE HAPPY. Good times are coming!!! But be very careful about spending. The good economy we had at the beginning of this year will be etched away by other reasons other than Covid. |

Just take it home and throw it in your trash.... |

The ELS treat the postal station and parking lot like it is their dumping ground. The same postal station/pool area parking lot was used after the hurricane a couple of seasons ago as a dumping ground for their yard waste bags. |

Our house sits so that we are right across from the mail drop and we see a black pickup truck come to get the trash. Not every day...but regularly. We have a very small Village, granted, but throwing trash in the trash or next to it when it is full is what people do. Thankfully the pick-up-trash person carefully picks up the overage. This is just another mountain out of molehill to me. |

I would love to be able to retrieve my mail without having to sort through the junk. However, the Post Office finds it beneficial to put junk mail in my box. I find it beneficial to leave that junk in the trash cans. |
Sometime take a close look at some of the ponds on the golf courses. On Mallory Caroline, along hole 1 and 9 you will probably spot several of those little blue doggie bags carried by our thoughtful dog lovers (I do love dogs) who dump their poop bags into the drains. Guess where they end up? I have seen golf course workers having to drag the bags out of the ponds.
Always remember: Feed the can man. Slam dunk the junk. |
