Default PSA--COVIDTests.Gov site open a day early to order

Here is your chance if you feel the need to have tests handy at home.

Go as quick as you can to COVIDTests.Gov and order now (scroll all the way down the page to the bottom, and the blue box on the right side has the order now button) because who EVER heard of the Gov getting something done a day early???

I bet you the site will crash tomorrow with everyone trying as that was the date announced to launch.

I just read this. Now I'm confused.

I have original Medicare, not Medicare Advantage. Sounds like I wouldn’t get reimbursed?

"At this time original Medicare cannot pay for at-home tests through this program. Medicare Advantage plans may offer coverage and payment for at-home over-the-counter COVID-19 tests, so consumers covered by Medicare Advantage should check with their plan."

Wow! Up and running ahead of schedule.
Order placed.
Now we wait and see if the "advertised" lead times really happen!

If you copy and paste the link and then go to the bottom of the page and look at the blue box on the right hand side, you order, it is sent to you and it is FREE.

After you take the test, don’t you send it someplace for assessment? I have never taken a Covid test before, and I thought after you took the test you sent it someplace, And that’s where the cost would come in to play.

The home tests are similar to a pregnancy test. For example, a bar becomes visible if the sample is positive for COVID antigen.

You do the test yourself - you don't send anything anywhere. Has nothing to do with medicare or any insurance. It is free but taxpayers will pay in the end. Handy to have at home. I would test only if I had symptoms - testing just because you were exposed may not be accurate.

So why is it more accurate if you have symptoms? It still doesn’t prove anything.

Looking forward to the day when every newscast and every comment is NOT about Covid, the Gene Therapy Shot, wearing masks and getting tested for a disease that is survived by over 99% of people. God help us if this virus had a 25% mortality rate. I guess everyone (not me) would all be wearing hazmat suits 24/7 or living in a foxhole. Seriously people? Just use common sense, take Vitamin C,D, Zinc and get plenty of exercise and sunshine. If you still get Covid, try Ivermectin (if you can find it). It has worked for thousands of people despite the lies being told by Fauci and the fake news media.

Simple order page using the USPS order platform which already existed. The question is going to be WHEN will they appear? Which reminds to be seen.
