I have been pretty satisfied with all I learned At 60, not sure there is anything That could improve on in the next 20 years. As far as health issues such as cancer or cardiac, many have had those learned lessons in their 30s and 40s.

I wished to express that every year that we get older is a year we have amassed more information. The people who I know well who are my age continue to grow and learn and read and listen and absorb and think.
Yesterday out of a life long interest in Decor and keeping current and knowing what is going on and what is the latest "thing" I spent several hours looking at magazines on line and seeing rooms that are using the new colors and a completely new look. I didn't "like" the mustard yellow being used with a light pink and some other new things but now I am beginning to "get" the trends. Not because they are "right or wrong" just because I enjoy seeing what the style mavens are doing in homes.
Another thing about living and getting older, it gets harder to maintain one's health and surprising and annoying things happen to ones body. Also as we age, we are faced with new heart break as loved partners die and friends die and our universe is altered and we must face and do face some very hard and sad things. AND that too shapes us and usually makes us more compassionate to others. We do keep learning and we do change and I do think the overall wisdom of a healthy 80 year old is 20 years more complete than a sixty year old.
Those who are younger can wait and see if they agree with me.
