On march 18th

They had plenty of corn beef left over on march18th , sounds to me like the ordering dept. dropped the ball. U can bet it won't happen next year!

its a grocery store and very good one. ...end of story....

Isn't it the spirit of the observance that matters more than who stocks/sells the meal ingredients?

Maybe focusing on our freedom to worship and shop freely for all the food we need would put the complaints into perspective.

The Catskill's

Spent some time growing up in the Catskills. Rest assured they would not have had this problem in their stores.

Every Store can't please every single person....get over it!

I think Publix gets it. At least at some stores.

Don't be rediculous. I have bought all of my Passover foods at Publix for the past ten years. Check my cupboard. I have 10 boxes of manischewitz and Matzoh and two jars of Pike and Whitefish as we speak. If you don't shop early you will surely be disappointed. How much do you want them to carry for and ethnic group that numbers less than 1% of the local population. I own no Publix stock but sure do wish you a happy Pesach!

I agree. I don't care about such things. In the town where I lived for many years there was a wonderful toy store that never decorated for Christmas or Easter or anything else, but everyone bought their children's toys there (and not because it was the only toy store, it wasn't. But it was the best.)
I Love Publix:mmmm:

Several years ago I went to Nordstrom on the first day of one of their famous Half Year sales. I hit the shoe dept. last and asked the salesman for the shoes that I wanted. He told me sorry they were out of them. I said oh bummer but this is the first day! "well, early bird gets the worm".

That has been in my head all these years but I still Love Nordstrom.

I like Publix, wouldn't change my shopping habits because of an issue like this, but to each their own.
