Just wait, everything will come in time. Until then shop at the Publix on 441, near Dennys and Walgreens. Never crowded.

Just my 2 cents!!

Same here. We bought in 1999. There was nothing beyond the Savannah Center.

I absolutely agree. Why wasn't a new Publix planned in time? I didn't retire here to shop like people do in NYC.

Yep, I do the same, Patty. Either I shop at 7pm or before 10am. Otherwise I go to SweetBay. Just came back from Southern Trace shopping plaza. Was amazed how empty the parking lot was. From now on, I'm going to Publix there if I can't make it early in the morning. I won't put up with all the hassle and stress of Colony. It isn't that far to Southern Trace center.

What a great life we have !!!
With all the problems in the world today, people out of work that don't have money to go to the grocery store, our complaint of the day is over crowded grocery stores.
If that's what I had to complain about, I truly feel blessed.
Just sayin'.

I always go later in the day and it doesn't seem to bad most of the time. In my experience 9 to 5 or 6 seems the busiest

Hopefully when they build the new Walmart and Publix out by Brownwood, that will lessen the overcrowding here. Well, HOPEFULLY!!

Go early in the morning they open at 7AM. I'm in and out in no time. Why would they put a store by Rt44 when there aren't that many houses down there yet?

I like te service, the products and the convenience of Publix, even though I am closer to Sweetbays. It takes a bit of patience. Take it easy folks, we are retired. It does take awhile to get through the traffic on the golf cart path. Some folks I know drive the whole three miles. Three miles, gee whiz.

Went to Publix today for a hurry-up meal. One of the items was $2.19. Stopped at Sweetbay on the way home to pick up a sale item. My $2.19 product from Publix was $1.59 at Sweetbay and wasn't on sale! Will be going to Sweetbay a lot more now!

Went to Publix on 466 yesterday and there were a LOT of folks stocking up who had just arrived for the month.

Sweetie was standing and waiting for his turn at the deli and some woman came through with her cart saying loudly to everyone. "Get out of my way!"

Sweetie said people just looked at each other and rolled their eyes and shrugged.

Someone is gonna deck somone one of these days at the deli part of Publix.

Sometimes, it ain't pretty.
