If you try on the 27th, keep the page open, keep waiting for it to refresh, keep waiting for it to say appointments can be scheduled then immediately scroll down to book appointment...finally at 6:30 it opened and I was able to get in for Sunday. Hope this helps

I sat with two computers doing a refresh until they were both put in the Que and automatic refresh from the website started working. After an hour one of the computers went to a screen to request an appointment. I filled out all the information requested and finally got to a screen that gave me sites in Marion county that were available, I chose one then it showed times available, I chose a time and then selected the finished and not a robot and it then told me that was not available, after it had said it was available. It then sent back to fill half my information over again and came up to the location and then time. I chose another one that it said it was available, then it says not available. What a joke. This is my third time getting on at 6 am and finally at 7:30 nothing available. Publix website is not worth it!

I signed on at 6am this morning and let the page refresh itself. At 7;20am I saw the page said to make an appointment. I did so and the clicked ‘make another appointment” and was able to make one for my SO. Both are in Daytona Beach, as by the time I was able to make our appointments, that was all that was available. Worth the drive. Both appointments are for Wednesday.

Are the Publix 'drive thru', or wait in line, indoors or outside, any body know, thanks.

Two of my neighbor friends are driving to the Pubix at Fort Walton Beach after finally being able to get an appointment-a five hour drive each way.
My wife just successfully booked at the Orlando Convention Center for January 29, followed later by second shot. Two other neighbors are doing the same. The software being used by Orange County and CDR Health Pro works very well and does not "choke" when throngs of people are on the site. It does speed things up if you create an account ahead of time and then wait for vaccinations to open as they have vaccine. I received my first from Global Medical Response and am waiting to see if second shot appointment will happen. As more people leave the area and find vaccine, I am concerned whether GMR will return. They did an excellent job, but were not supported by the State. After all of the PR and marketing for the site, the State just let it fold. It is an abysmal failure in the health system when so many Villagers are having to drive longer distances for the vaccine. It will become more tragic for our oldest seniors who cannot access the internet and drive an hour or more to be vaccinated. |
It does happen. I logged into site at 6am yesterday. It opened up to me at 6.20 and I had appt and done at 6.33.
