Don't care what they have on the lawn. If we complain we must give our name.At least in the district we live in. Wind chimes should not be allowed. And if high winds are coming I wish they lawn ornaments were put away before they are flying objects. Also USAflags lite at night. And the ropes that hold them secure( the sound of those ropes against the pole make dripping water sound musical.).Park your cars and company cars in front of your house. Walk and poops your dog on your lawn. And if you want a cross fine ,just member if someone puts up their religious symbol it is also fine.. As long as you show some restraint so the neighborhood remains clean who really cares. Try putting energy into helping others and being kind. Afterall how many more trips around the sun do you think we all have? Now rant done. Walking into 2025 after 22 years here with thoughts of live and let live. The value of my home will be OK as long as those crane birds don't take out my windows.Happy Healthy New Year.

So you could have a pot shaped like a bird, and plant something in it, and that'd be okay. Some people claim that ornaments "under the eaves" of the house (right up against the house itself and not on the lawn or distant flowerbed) are acceptable in some neighborhoods. But you'd have to check each set of community standards to find out what applies in which area.

The Historic section doesn't have that particular restriction, which is why you'll see most homes with some kind of lawn ornaments in the yard or in the flower-beds.

In addition, these deed restrictions are subject to enforcement ONLY when someone complains about a violation. If everyone LIKES the statue under the palm tree on your front lawn, then it's fine to have it there. But as soon as someone complains about it, you have to remove it.

You mean to tell me we have Karens in TV? Tell me it’s not true!

I never understood lawn ornaments. I honestly think most of them look tacky and cheap.

But I am also a minimalist. To each his own I guess…

Interesting. According to the CDD rules about planters, it seems this would qualify. I think I'll do it!

You don't have to be a "Karen" to have a valid complaint about a deed violation. If your neighbor dies with no family to care for it, and the landscapers aren't getting paid so they stop mowing the lawn, the yard becomes nothing but dry patches of weeds and ant infestation, mold starts growing on the outer walls of the house, vines start growing in the roof gutters - then calling to complain about it isn't being a Karen. It's being a resident of the community who doesn't want to be living next door to a trash heap.

Map available, also showing the metropolitan statistical area (MSA)

"The Villages" defined by the census bureau is only north of CR44, and also excludes the historic area.

This is the most productive attitude, in my opinion. People in general make mountains out of mole hills.

Matthew 23:24 (NIV) speaks to a similar concept: "You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel." This verse criticizes the Pharisees for their attention to minor details while ignoring larger, more significant matters.

Next do residents of Middleton pay the outside rate (the highest) for championship golf? Also when they give population figures for the villages, I would think Middleton would count because it’s a place with its own zip code.

I have to wonder why ask. All will be very unhappy with neighbors turning each other in. Violations? Be sure you are perfect.

It's never "fine" to have it there just because no one complained about it. If it's a deed restriction it's not allowed period.
