I have a jeep grand Cherokee and a golf cart in mine, fits fine.

Storage units
Why do you think there are so many storage warehouses on route 44 and 301? Do yourself a favor and get a two car garage.

It will be tight, but yes it will fit.

No! It’s not big enough, we had a villa 1 1/2 garage and it’s ridiculously small

My 2016 Ford Taurus 202.9
My 2016 Ford Taurus SHO that's 202.9 in long fits, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is only 193 in long. 2012 golf cart fit fine as well. This was in a patio villa that is on Burgos off El Caminon Real near the Polo field. We purchased a stop sign thing that the bumper touches for a perfect easy way to park. There's room to comfortably walk around the car with packages in hand.
It also depends on if they have moved laundry etc out into the garage. So make note of that. Btw, it was a crazy, Uber tight fit at the town homes in Spanish Springs. They have the smallest shortest length garages. The Taurus SHO just barely fit with only about four inches distance to close garage door you could not walk around the car with the garage door closed. QUOTE=villagetinker;2068764]I am guessing this will be tight from comments I have seen previously. I would measure each (I will be glad to give you our Yamaha measurements), then get the villa plans and place each in the garage. Now, look at access to the vehicles, AND storage, there is very little storage in the house.[/QUOTE] |
The angle of driveway also is a consideration

I also have an Anaheim villa. I fit my older Rav 4 and two golf carts(one in front of the other) in with all my gardening tools, Christmas bins, etc. no problem.

Most driveways in Courtyard villas are curved. As a result, you need to be able to menuever your car which will take some doing especially if your washer/dryer are in the garage. I have a 2 car garage and depending the way I pull in , sometimes I have to back out, pull forward and back out again. I suggest you find someone with a 1 1/2 car garage to try it. Most people in my villas end up putting the golf cart in and leaving to car in the driveway. The other thing is depending on how big your house is and how much stuff you have , ask yourself will you need it for storage also. If the answer is yes then no you don’t have enough room

We get our Jeep Grand Cherokee, TWO golf carts, 7 bikes and 2 vertical racks for storage in our 1.5 car garage.

I just wanted to say, thanks for all the posts. I am hopefully going to be closing on a home in the Village of Duval by the end of the month. I felt the size may be a bit tight with the Jeep and a Golf Cart, but I don't see it as a huge issue as I don't plan on storing/moving a lot from my current home.
