One similarity I did see is some have screened in lanais similar to Village models. The Playground series might be closest to Patio Villas, but no patio & no lanai.

I looked at Middleton when my daughter was here for Thanksgiving. They ARE the same models as the Villages. The model names are different but the floor plans are the same. In Middleton, there are MORE models to choose from. This includes two story homes and smaller framed houses.

Example: Kit and Kaboodle (Recess Series)is called Emerald (Patio Villa) on the Villages side. A 3rd bedroom was created in lieu of a lanai. This version is also available in the Villages for those who choose it. Or, you can have a 2 bedroom with lanai.

Most Designer Homes available in the Villages are being built in Middleton. When we visited, they were 10- 20% cheaper than the Villages side. This may have changed. I have not look at home prices since my visit in November.

The sales rep explained townhomes are going to built in Middleton.

So the models in Middleton are just the same as the models in the Villages except for the models that are different than those in the Villages and the models that aren’t built in the Villages?

That is a great summary of the preceding rambling post!

Oops, Sorry! I was typing fast while answering the phone.

There are MORE models to choose from in Middleton. They are in ADDITION to those being sold in the Villages. When we were there, my daughter was interested in Designer Style Homes. (Known as Range Series In Middleton) We instantly noticed the floor plans are identical to the Villages.

We were told Courtyard Villas are not being built in Middleton. Townhomes are planned for that area.
