Real Estate Tax Cap
Your chance for a 26% property tax cut is finally here.
There is a new citizen's initiative that will cut our property taxes once and for all. We need every voter in Florida to sign a petition to CAP property taxes at 1.35%. Please go to www.cutpropertytaxesnow.com to learn more and to sign the petition. By signing and mailing in the petition today you will help make real property tax relief a reality. The 1.35% Petition will cut property taxes by $8 billion, saving the average property owner 26%. This initiative caps all property taxes a 1.35% of TAXABLE VALUE and protects “Save our Homes” and all Homestead Exemptions. This is a true citizen's initiative that has gained the backing and support of other grassroots organizations across the state including: Ax the Tax, C.A.R.T., Floridians for Property Tax Reform, Fair Property Taxes for All, Cut Taxes Now, Hernando County Taxpayers Alliance, Bay Tax Alliance, and Sunny Hill/Oak Hill Taxpayers League. We have already received thousands of petitions but we need many more before February 1, 2008 to be successful. In order to have the initiative placed on the November 2008 ballot we need to gather 611,009 signed petitions from around the state and with your help we know that we can be successful in bringing meaning property tax relief to hardworking Floridians. Thank you in advance for your support. Please forward this email on to family, friends and co-workers. This is a true grassroots effort that cannot succeed without the help of dedicated citizens like you. Again please visit our website at www.cutpropertytaxesnow.com for more information and we look forward to receiving your petition.
