Please read the post again. The point is to consider the roundabout as if it is normal intersection. You would not make a left turn at a regular intersection from the right lane, nor a right turn from the left lane. To go to the third exit from where you enter the roundabout in the right lane, you are essentially making left turn from the right lane.
