Hi....We own a home in TV and are snowbirds (but very slight) right now. I would like to claim residency in FL as I spend a lot more time there than my husband does. What does this involve?

We did our paperwork at the Sumter Co. Annex on the Southwest corner of 466 and Morse Blvd. This is also where we got our license plates. If I remember correctly you have to show your FL drivers license and sign the paper work. The person at the desk when you walk in took care of ours. I imagine if you live out of Sumter Co they can tell you where to go.
