A couple years ago I had a dead palm taken down. A landscaper saw it and offered to cut it down for $100. I offered him $80. 20 minutes later the tree and landscaper was gone. Keep looking.

I found his card. Angelcob Landscaping 321.458.8028

Michael’s Tree Service

Michael’s Tree Service charged me $250. Approx same sized Sabal palm. He was here anyway pruning the rest of the palms.

Did you need to get ARC approval from your district to take down the tree?

ARC approval is not required for a palm.

Call Michael's (Michael Duke) at 352 - 504 - 1597. He is licensed and insured. He removed our 3 Queen Anne palm trees, including stump grinding. Extremely fair price. I recommended him to several neighbors. All were very pleased. It took just over one hour, including the stump grinding-- which you should do. With all his equipment already here, he would probably remove your other palm tree stump. Mike is a very pleasant individual. He is dependable-- he comes when he says he will come. He is very neat-- they clean-up everything. He was careful not to damage any of our landscaping, which includes blocks and rocks. You do not need ARC approval to remove a palm tree. BTW-- the Florida State legislature and Governor DeSantis recently changed the rules minimizing the requirements concerning the removal of other types of trees.
